A diferencia de lo que ocurre en los Congresos
presenciales, los organizadores de este Congreso tuvieron la posibilidad de conocer
previamente el contenido de los distintos relatos presentados. Al no tener precedentes en
este aspecto, dado lo inédito del mismo, existían dos alternativas: una era solicitar
modificaciones a los distintos autores, con el fin de unificar el criterio literario de
los trabajos presentados bajo la supervisión de expertos, como sucede al publicar una
obra; otra era publicarlos en las páginas Web tal cual eran enviados, manteniendo de esa
manera, la estructura y el contenido escrito por los autores.
Las autoridades del Congreso se inclinaron por esta segunda posibilidad, por lo que todas
las Conferencias y Relatos que se presentan en las páginas Web del Congreso Virtual son
la EXPRESION TEXTUAL DE LO ENVIADO POR LOS AUTORES, quienes tuvieron la oportunidad de dar
previa conformidad a los mismos.
Durante los seis meses de duración del Congreso (octubre 1 de 1999 - marzo 31 de
2000), el material se publicará paulatinamente. A partir de su publicación, todo el
material quedará permanentemente en las páginas para su consulta.
Unlike what happens in Congresses "in
person", the organizing members of this Congress had the chance to know in advance
the contents of the different lectures presented. Having no precedents regarding this
aspect, and due to its singularity, there were two choices:
one was to request modifications to the different authors, attempting to unify literary
criteria of the papers presented, under experts' supervision, as it happens when a work is
published; and the other was to publish them in Web pages just as they were sent, thus
keeping structure and contents as they were written by the authors.
The authorities of the Congress preferred the latter. Consequently, all lectures presented
in Web pages of the Virtual Congress are the EXACT TEXT AS SENT BY THE AUTHORS, who had
the chance of giving their consent before their publication.
During the six months of the Congress (Oct 1, 1999 - Mar 31, 2000), the material will be published gradually. After publication, all material will remain permanently in the pages for consultation at will.
